Peterborough Swimming Club Summer Open Meet the destination for March swimmers

Nineteen swimmers from March Marlins competed at City of Peterborough Swimming Club Summer Open Meet at Manor Leisure in Whittlesey.

The club had a great outing with 63 new personal bests recorded and some of the children achieving podium finishes to earn themselves medals.

The event sees finals take place for the top six of each age category for 50M races.

Marlins had 12 swimmers competing in this stage of the event.

Elsewhere, Archie and Alfie McClure competed in the Castle Cholmondeley Triathlon.

Archie was first out of the water finishing in first place for the 13-14 year old category and Alfie placed 10th in the 11-12 year-old section.

Both athletes showed their skills as they excelled in all three disciplines.
