March Marlins Autumn Challenge

On Saturday 19th, 3 swimmers from March marlins had the honour of competing at Cambridge Grand Prix 2024 at Parkside pool in Cambridge.
This is a Level 2 competition for the qualified swimmers only and many swimmers from a wide area from the country have attended.
Mason Riley gained his PB in 50m backstroke and 100m freestyle, Harry Rickard did on 50m back and Jude Staton did on 50m free and 200m back.
March marlins hosted their annual event, Autumn Challenge at Manor leisure in Whittlesey on Sunday, swimming club from Ely, Huntingdon, St Ives and Market Harborough came to compete.
All the Marlins swimmers put so much effort, achieving 58 PB’s all together. Many swimmers gained medals and qualifying for the county championship.
Dylan Haylock, Niamh O’Donoghue, Jacob Ure, Isla Staton, Harry Rickard and Connor Rickard were awarded for the top male/female of the age group.
There was a great team spirit, swimmers cheering loud for others and many parents,grandparents and siblings volunteered to run this event
