March swimmers perform well in competitions at Norwich and Ely

March Marlins competed at the Norwich Swans No Frills season starter at Sports Park.

The seven swimmers all put their skills to the test and gained 13 personal bests, whilst showing their determination and giving it their all.

Harriet Feaviour was first in the 50 breaststroke, 50 butterfly, 100 backstroke,100 freestyle) and Jude Staton took top spot in the 100 fly.

Second places went to Niamh O’Donoghue 200 fly, Jude Staton 50 free, Jacob Ure 50 free, 50 back,100 back, 200 IM.

Third spots went to Mia Jones 50 breast, 100 back, 200 breast, 200 IM, Niamh O’Donoghue 400 IM, Kitty Payne 400 Free and Jacob Ure 200 free.

Elsewhere, three older swimmers challenged themselves in 1500m races at the Hive in Ely along with the City of Ely Swimming Club and they all performed brilliantly.
